In today’s show, I encourage you to pay attention to what’s good when it’s good. I know. It’s the dead of winter and with all that’s going on in the world right now, it’s really easy to focus on what’s discouraging and painful.
Instead, let’s try to pay attention to what’s actually good; and I don’t mean circumstances. If you ever find yourself with a buoyant spirit and a more-hopeful-than-normal mindset, take note of the things in these three categories that very like contributed:
- Rhythms: What’s happening with your rhythms when things are good? What’s your eating, exercise and sleep been like? (Let’s be honest, I need 9 hours of sleep and a whole lotta protein). How about you?
- Mindset: What’s going on in your attitude when you feel good? Choose to focus on what’s affirming and encouraging in your life.
- Relationships: Who’s in your life when you’re having good days? How are you able to believe the encouragement they’re speaking into your life?
Let’s pay attention when it’s good. You can’t control it all, but the more you’re in touch with what’s good when it’s good, the more you can begin to shape your life in that direction. Here’s to more good days than bad in 2021!
