Oh friends, I cannot believe that we launched a podcast in a pandemic–and fifteen episodes later, the world is in an even messier place then when we began. But in the midst of the chaos, I am so grateful that we have a place to have conversations about how we can become stronger, more resilient human beings together, and on this episode, we are tackling an issue that everyone I know is dealing with on one level or another–anxiety and fear.

Today, I answer the following questions that have been on my client’s minds:

  • Why am I so anxious?
  • Is this just the way I am in my personality?
  • What can I do about my anxiety in the long-term?
  • What can I do about it in the short-term (ie how to I handle it when it strikes as a panic attack or in the middle of the night?)

I also share a bit more personally about my relationship with social media right now and the continued need to focus on anti-racist living in my own family and life, so check it out and let me know what you think by contacting me at [email protected]!

I reference exercises found in She’s Got Issues and Brave Enough, which you can pick up at your favorite booksellers like Barnes and Noble, Amazon, etc etc!
