Cleaning house and an invite to join the party!

Hey friends,

So often I wait and wait to write here, wanting to give you a real word of inspiration that’s worth your precious time. But I’m in a season where I’m practicing the spiritual discipline of ENOUGH. Meaning, good enough. Brave Enough. Just enough.

This looks like little things, like dropping a house cleaning blog post on you rather than waiting for the perfect words. It looks like having friends over around some old camp chairs and lighting a fire and sitting in the driveway and knowing that’s hospitality enough for a party. It may not be Pinterest-worthy, but it works. These words might not change your life, but maybe they lift your spirits a little. And for today, that’s enough.

SO…without further ado, here’s the deal:

I’m cleaning house to get ready for my next book and DVD project, coming your way August 2015. And that starts with cleaning out my bookstore! I’d love to give away some “Own Your Issues” T-shirts to celebrate. Maybe you (or someone you know) needs to be liberated by wearing a T-shirt that reminds them (and everyone around them) that life isn’t about having no issues, it’s just about owning the issues you have!

I’m going to give away 10 shirts to my faithful email subscribers and shirts to all NEW subscribers this week, as long as they last! Email is most definitely the best way to keep up with each other, especially with the new book project coming (and I can’t tell you how excited I am to share that one with you!) So if you have some friends you’d like to invite to subscribe, I’d love that. Of course, I’ll never do anything dumb like send you way too many emails, or sell your list, or spam you with made-for-TV products. This is just a way to stay up with occasional updates and hopefully, words that inspire you! So all they need to do is come over to the home page ( and put in their email, and all YOU need to do is tell all 400 of your closest friends to come join us. It’s like a party where everyone comes as they are, laughs easily and loves each other enough to make life sweet. Easy!

So pass this along lickety-split–the first subscribers this week will all get a T, as long as they last! And just think–someday soon you might be in a Starbucks and see a woman in an exclusive own your issues T–and you can whisper while you walk by, “Hey girl, I get it.” Wouldn’t that be something!!

**I’ll be in touch by next week if you win!
